Cynthia E. Nance is Dean Emeritus and Nathan G. Gordon Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. Cynthia joined the Arkansas Law faculty as an assistant professor in 1994, and served as dean of the law school from 2006-11 and again as interim dean from 2022-23. She teaches labor and employment law, workplace legislation and poverty law.
Cynthia received her BS magna cum laude from Chicago State University, her JD with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, and an MA from the University of Iowa College of Business. Cynthia was as a long-time member of our Board of Trustees before joining the National Advisory Board.
