NAB Member and Arkansas Law Dean 'Thrilled' That Many Women of Color Have Succeeded Her

This is the second story in a series about the first female law deans that will run throughout March during Women’s History Month.

When Cynthia Nance became the first Black woman dean at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville School of Law in 2006, it was considered a historic moment commemorated by the school receiving more than two dozen congratulatory messages and just as many bouquets of flowers.

Nance currently serves as a member of The NALP Foundation National Advisory Board and previously served on our Board of Trustees.
