The NALP Foundation Names New Chair-Elect

Tacy Flint has been elevated to a new leadership position on the NALP Foundation Board of Trustees.

The NALP Foundation is pleased to congratulate Tacy F. Flint on her election as the new Chair-Elect of The NALP Foundation Board of Trustees effective July 1, 2023. A partner with Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, Tacy is a premier appellate litigator who has won victories for her clients in high-stakes cases at all levels of the judiciary, and whose work has been recognized by Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, AmLaw, and others.

“We are thrilled to elevate Tacy Flint to Chair-Elect of The NALP Foundation,” said Bill O’Neil, a partner with Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago and current Chair of the Board of Trustees. “Tacy is thoughtful, articulate, and a purpose-driven leader who is passionate about the organization’s mission and will continue to push the Foundation to even greater heights.”

“The NALP Foundation is a terrific organization, doing invaluable research on questions of critical importance to lawyers, law schools, and legal employers,” Tacy said. “I’ve enjoyed being part of our great Board of Trustees and look forward to taking on this new role.”

Tacy received her BA from Princeton University and her JD with highest honors from the University of Chicago Law School. She clerked for Judge Richard Posner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Justice Stephen Breyer of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Tacy has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2019. After completing a one-year term as Chair-Elect, Tacy will become the Chair of the Board of Trustees in July 2024.
